  • Stuttgart/Leipzig, May 30, 2014 - The Mercedes-Benz B-Class has won the J.D. Power satisfaction study in its vehicle segment. The award was presented yesterday in connection with the AMI in Leipzig. The high customer satisfaction is also reflected in the sales figures: since its market launch in 2005, Mercedes-Benz has delivered more than a million B-Class models to customers worldwide.
  • Stuttgart, Feb 7, 2014 - Mercedes-Benz is pressing ahead with its efficiency drive: seven new versions of the A, B and CLA-Class now offer fuel savings of up to 7 percent compared with their respective predecessors. The A 200 CDI 4MATIC and A 220 CDI 4MATIC additionally represent the first all-wheel-drive diesel models forming part of the new generation of compact cars from Mercedes-Benz. All models are available to order now, with deliveries set to begin in March 2014.

  • Stuttgart, Dec 20, 2013 - Since the launch of the B-Class in 2005, Mercedes-Benz has seen customers taking delivery of over one million of these vehicles. The sports tourer has done especially well in the German market and is the market leader in the compact MPV sector. Around 30 percent of B-Class customers previously drove a different brand of vehicle. Germany is the biggest market for the B-Class, followed by China.
  • Stuttgart, Dec 12, 2013 - "The federal state of Baden-Württemberg is the home of the automobile. We are sending a signal for the future by actively opting for emission-free technology. It will be impossible to imagine our roads without vehicles employing these alternative drive systems," said Minister President Winfried Kretschmann during the handover of his new official car in Berlin on 12 December 2013.
  • Stuttgart/Hochgurgl, Dec 5, 2013 - The 4x4 family from Mercedes-Benz currently comprises more than 60 models. This means that a 4x4 technology solution tailored to the respective vehicle class is always available – from the new compact class model family and the vehicles of the C, E, S, CLS and CL-Class, through to the comprehensive range of SUVs and cross-country vehicles that make up the GLA, GLK, M, GL and G-Class ranges.
  • Stuttgart, Jul 1, 2013 - The A, B and CLA-Class model ranges are being extended with the addition of highly economical entry-level versions, another fuel-efficient BlueEFFICIENCY Edition model as well as 4MATIC all-wheel drive variants boasting high levels of traction. Rounding off the top end of the model range is the CLA 45 AMG high-performance coupé. The new models will be available to order from July and will land in dealerships in September 2013.
  • Stuttgart, Jan 25, 2012 - The neutral inspectors at the TÜV Süd technical inspection authority have confirmed the high environmental compatibility of the new Mercedes B-Class, awarding the compact sports tourer the Environmental Certificate in accordance with ISO standard TR 14062. This certification is based on a comprehensive ecological life cycle assessment of the B-Class, documenting every detail of ecological relevance.

  • Stuttgart, Nov 15, 2011 - The first vehicles from the new B-Class and new M-Class ranges will be going out to customers from 19 November. It has been possible to order these models since July and September respectively. Even prior to the dealer launch, the customer response has been outstanding. "The introduction of the new B-Class and the new M-Class brings two important models to the market, each of which raises the bar in its segment that little bit further.

This is the campaign message with which Mercedes-Benz is launching its new premium sports tourer, which will be at dealerships from 19 November. The campaign will run until Christmas in print, online and on TV. It focuses on the numerous safety systems that make the compact premium sports tourer the safest car in its class – with a particular emphasis on COLLISION PREVENTION ASSIST.
