- Aachen, Dec 19, 2016 - At Christmas time it would be unthinkable for most to celebrate without the famous Printen cookies from Aachen. Which is why nothing must be left to chance in the supply chain leading up to Christmas. And that is why for 30 years, the traditional bakery Nobis Printen has relied on a fleet of Mercedes-Benz vans to deliver its world-famous cookies.

- Stuttgart/Netherlands, Dec 6, 2016 - The Dutch police has signed a framework agreement for 300 new Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 316 CDI (combined fuel consumption: 7.1 l/100 km, combined CO2 emissions: 186 g/km). The first vehicles have already been delivered in November 2016.

- Stuttgart, Aug 23, 2016 - The Marco Polo and Marco Polo ACTIVITY have brought considerable success for Mercedes-Benz Vans in the camper van market. At the Caravan Salon in Düsseldorf, the brand with the three-pointed star will be presenting an overview of its various activities in the market on stand D18 in hall 16.

- Stuttgart/Leeds, Jun 9, 2016 - Retailer ASDA, based in Leeds/Northern England, will take delivery of 550 new Sprinter this year. The Mercedes-Benz vans, all chassis cabs, with an engine output of 95 kW (129 hp) will make nationwide deliveries of food to customers who have placed their orders online.

- Stuttgart, Mar 15, 2016 - Mercedes-Benz Vans celebrates an important milestone with its success van, the Sprinter. Since its market launch in 1995, the division has delivered three million units of its "world vehicle" to customers. The large van is driven in over 130 countries. 2015 was the most successful year for Sprinter in its history. In the year of its 20th birthday, sales of the Sprinter rose by four percent to 194,200 vehicles. Mercedes-Benz Vans is expecting further overall growth in demand in 2016.

- Stuttgart/Lörsch, Nov 26, 2015 - On 26 November 2015 at the Lorsch Abbey UNESCO World Heritage site, Verkehrsgesellschaft Gersprenztal mbH (VGG) and Verkehrsverbund Rhein-Neckar GmbH (VRN) staged a public presentation of 13 new Mercedes-Benz Citaro LE (Low Entry) vehicles and two Mercedes-Benz Sprinter City 65 vehicles for serving the new Ried bus network.

- Düsseldorf, Sep 10, 2015 - A big stage for the world's number-one van: today the Sprinter celebrated its 20-year anniversary at the Mercedes-Benz Düsseldorf plant. More than 250 guests including politicians, economists and the media plus employees from the six worldwide Sprinter production sites in Germany, Argentina, China, Russia and the USA attended the official celebration at the Düsseldorf plant.

- Barcelona/Spanien, Sep 4, 2015 - Good news in the anniversary year of the large vans of Mercedes-Benz Vans: With the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter in its portfolio, the Falck Group, the world's largest private provider of ambulance services, has won a tender by the region of Catalonia and prevailed against numerous competitors. From this autumn and for the next six years, more than 340 Sprinter will guarantee mobile emergency and safe patient transport services in three districts in the Catalan metropolis of Barcelona.

- Stuttgart, Jun 5, 2015 - The Sprinter is celebrating its birthday – and everyone is invited to join the party. When it made its debut in 1995, it marked the start of a new era for vans: this highly successful model from Mercedes-Benz Vans has long since become synonymous with a particular breed of van with a gross vehicle weight of around 3.5 t. To date, some 2.9 million Sprinter models have been built which are in service in over 150 markets worldwide. To mark the anniversary of its best-seller, Mercedes-Benz has brought out a highly attractive special model – the exclusively equipped "Edition Sprinter".

- Stuttgart, Dec 22, 2014 - Effective immediately, the new Sprinter will serve as the basis for UPS’s typical brown delivery vans. The vans will get their box bodies and the characteristic bonnet from the body manufacturer Spier. The basis of the cooperative development between UPS, Spier and Mercedes-Benz is the new Sprinter 513 BlueTec with its 95 kW-strong Euro VI engine and long wheel base. Three models will be produced – the UPS P60, the UPS P70 and the UPS P80 – each with different body lengths. The first of the new vehicles will be delivered to the parcel service in August.

- Stuttgart, Nov 27, 2014 - Last year, the new Mercedes-Benz Sprinter achieved a new dimension of safety technology in the van segment with its innovative driver assistance systems. The camper market benefits from this, too. Lane Keeping Assist, Blind Spot Assist, Highbeam Assist, COLLISION PREVENTION ASSIST and Crosswind Assist have long been available in camper van conversions based on the Sprinter panel van. Mercedes-Benz is now expanding the application of these assistance systems, successively making them available also for purpose-built motorhome bodies based on the new van.

- Stuttgart, Oct 30, 2014 - Crosswind Assist is now also available as a retrofit solution for numerous variants of the Sprinter. The most important prerequisite: the vehicle must be fitted with the current version of Adaptive ESP, available since January 2012. Almost all owners of vehicles built between 2012 and mid-2013 are therefore now able to retrofit this highly effective safety feature to their vehicle. The mid-2013 model change saw Crosswind Assist become part of the standard specification of all the most common Sprinter variants.

- Stuttgart, Oct 21, 2014 - Mercedes-Benz Vans has finalized its long-term strategy for the production of the successor model of the Sprinter. As the only manufacturer in the segment of large vans that is producing vehicles in Germany, Mercedes-Benz Vans will assemble the next generation of the Sprinter at its plants in Düsseldorf and Ludwigsfelde. For this purpose, Mercedes-Benz Vans will invest a total of €450 million in the modernization of the two German plants.

- Stuttgart, Sep 3, 2014 - The Mercedes-Benz Sprinter has won the European Innovation Award at Caravan Salon in Düsseldorf for its comprehensive range of new assistance and safety systems. The Sprinter was one of 10 vehicles nominated for the award, which is presented by trade journalists from all over Europe to honor especially innovative new camper van products. The judges were greatly impressed by the Sprinter, which they selected as the winner in the category Base Vehicle for Mobile Home Add-ons and Bodies.

- Stuttgart, Aug 7, 2014 - The focal point of the Mercedes-Benz Vans stand at the 2014 International Commercial Vehicle Show in Hanover (25 September to 2 October) is the public premiere of the Vito. With three drive systems, a large payload, unique safety equipment and maximum economy, it sets standards.

- Cologne/Stuttgart, May 19, 2014 - Mercedes vans recently beat their respective competitors on two test routes in Germany's Bergisches Land region. The winning vehicles were the Sprinter 316 CDI and the Vito 113 CDI; both vans captured first place in their respective categories. In addition, the innovation award for safety was won by the Crosswind Assist system, which is offered exclusively by Mercedes Benz.

- Stuttgart/Mainz, Apr 10, 2014 - The large van from Stuttgart far outpaced the competition as it took the two top slots in the Green Van 2014 environmental ranking made by the prestigious automotive weekly VerkehrsRundschau. First place went to the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 316 CDI and second place to the Sprinter 313 CDI.

- Stuttgart/Essaouira, Apr 7, 2014 - In a triumph for the new all-wheel-drive Sprinter, Daimler employees Astrid Ebermann and Sabrina Trillmann came in first in the Rallye Aïcha des Gazelles in Morocco at the end of March. The winning duo’s Crossover category vehicle is a new Sprinter 316 CDI 4x4. Only women take part in this motorsports event, which has been held annually since 1990. More than 160 teams from around 30 countries took part in the rally this year.

- Stuttgart, Dec 5, 2013 - It makes light work of extreme summits like the Timmelsjoch, even in the harshest of conditions in the depths of winter. It slaves away in muddy excavations, and traverses sand and scree pistes in the farthest corners of the world. With all-wheel drive, the new Sprinter 4x4 is displaying its outstanding capabilities even under the most adverse of conditions.

Here in the Tyrolean Alps at an elevation of 2500 metres, Mercedes-Benz Vans is presenting the new Sprinter 4x4 to the public for the first time.

- Stuttgart, Sep 6, 2013 - Mercedes-Benz Vans is already creating the conditions that will enable it to master the challenges associated with the model changeover of the Sprinter large van in a few years time. It is also realigning the Sprinter production strategy for the long-term. To enable the division to respond to future growth, it will not extend its contract manufacturing agreement with Volkswagen AG in relation to large vans after the contract expires as scheduled at the end of 2016.

- Stuttgart/Nizhny Novgorod, Jul 15, 2013 - The first Sprinter Classic rolled off the assembly line in Nizhny Novgorod, Russia, today. This milestone represents yet another step forward with regard to Mercedes-Benz Vans’ “Vans goes global” growth strategy. Mercedes-Benz Vans manufactures the Sprinter Classic locally in cooperation with Russia’s largest van manufacturer, GAZ. The division sells the van on the Russian market in collaboration with the Mercedes-Benz sales organization.

- Düsseldorf/Stuttgart , Jul 1, 2013 - After over eight million kilometers of test drives, and an investment of €25 million in the two German van plants in Düsseldorf and Ludwigsfelde, the first new Mercedes-Benz Sprinter has now rolled off the assembly line in Düsseldorf.
