  • Stuttgart, Nov 25, 2015 - A total of 19,438 drivers from 359 companies in 18 countries took part in this year's FleetBoard Drivers' League in the period from 1 June to 31 October 2015. This year it was Marius Hareza from the Ihro freight company in Neuenstein who stood at the top of the German winner's rostrum in the "Best Driver" category. Marius Hareza amply demonstrated his skill with a driving style score of 9.92, leaving the other competitors behind him. In the "Best Team" category, the medal likewise went to the team from the Ihro freight company.

The different fee collection and toll systems in the EU are increasing the burden on, and costs incurred by, fleet operators. But toll payment has now been made simpler for the Hungarian road network thanks to the Daimler FleetBoard telematics system. Together with e-track Informatics, an auditing services provider for toll management in Hungary, Daimler FleetBoard is the first OEM telematics provider to enable electronic payment for toll roads based on FleetBoard data.

  • Stuttgart, Mar 17, 2014 - On 1 April 2014, Dietrich Müller is set to take over as the new Managing Director of Daimler FleetBoard GmbH, the leading provider of telematics-based Internet services for commercial vehicles. The previous Managing Director, Dr Ralf Forcher, will in the future be taking on duties as part of the Pension Review Committee of Daimler FleetBoard GmbH, and will continue to be responsible for the Mercedes-Benz Trucks order processing center of Daimler AG. Dietrich Müller was previously Head of Product and Marketing Management at Mercedes-Benz Trucks.
