- Stuttgart, May 15, 2017 - With "hp culture and orchestral sounds" as the motto, on 20 May 2017 orchestras from Baden-Württemberg and Slovenia will be the guests on the open-air stage of the Mercedes-Benz Museum. The programme is part of the 2017 Regional Music School Day in Stuttgart and takes place from 11 a.m. to 4.45 p.m..

- Stuttgart, May 9, 2017 - It was twenty years ago that Mercedes-Benz presented the M-Class in Tuscaloosa (Alabama/USA). Following the traces of the legendary G-Class, the precursor to today's GLE successfully marked the brand's entry into the Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV) segment. At the same time, both vehicles provided the basis for the present, extensive Mercedes-Benz product portfolio in this market segment, which also includes the GLA, GLC and GLS apart from the G-Class and GLE.

- Stuttgart, May 4, 2017 - To celebrate this landmark anniversary of the Mille Miglia in around two weeks’ time, Mercedes-Benz Classic will be entering a total of ten vehicles. Between 18 and 21 May 2017, the classic cars from various eras will compete in what is arguably the world’s most famous road race, from Brescia in northern Italy to Rome and back.

- Stuttgart, Apr 12, 2017 - The Mercedes-Benz Museum is now setting a new tone with the Collection 4 Room "Gallery of Names": since 11 April 2017, the new room has enriched the permanent exhibition with the SLK 55 AMG of Lukas Podolski, the CLA SteetStyle designed by Cro the 190 E 2.3 of Nicolas Cage, the 190 SL of astronaut David Randolph Scott and the 300 GD of globetrotter Günther Holtorf.

- Stuttgart, Mar 23, 2017 - Exceptionally sporty vehicles will be the stars of the show on the Mercedes-Benz Classic stand at this year's Techno Classica: a total of eleven vehicles spanning over 110 years of the brand's history illustrate that sportiness has been in the Mercedes genes from the start.

- Stuttgart, Feb 21, 2017 - The cutting-edge technology and elegance so characteristic of Mercedes-Benz have always been expressed in a very special way in coupés. The three 230 C, 280 C and 280 CE models, presented by Mercedes-Benz 40 years ago in March 1977 at the Geneva Motor Show, linked into this tradition.

- Stuttgart, Feb 7, 2017 - In the jubilee year of the Mille Miglia, Mercedes-Benz Classic is remembering legendary wins and thrilling moments from the history of the Italian 1000-mile race: to mark the 90th anniversary of the Mille Miglia the Stuttgart is entering the race with a total of ten vehicles.

- Stuttgart, Nov 22, 2016 - "Mercedes-Benz SL – Six Decades of Fascination" is the title of a new book on the iconic model series of the Stuttgart-based brand. The book is published by Motorbuch Verlag, Stuttgart. Running to 528 pages, it provides in-depth information on every SL from 1952 through to the current 2017 model year.

- Stuttgart, Nov 8, 2016 - Racing driver Paul O'Shea won his second title as US sports car champion in the 1956 season driving a Mercedes-Benz 300 SL "Gullwing". When the season ended on 28 December 1956, he was champion in the category "D Production“ and had scored the most points in the National Sports Car Championship of the Sports Car Club of America (SCCA).

- Stuttgart, Oct 17, 2016 - A new record-breaking vehicle with a streamlined body and fully faired wheels as well as a likewise new V12 supercharged engine rated at 453 kW (616 hp): thus equipped, Rudolf Caracciola, the 1935 European Grand Prix champion, set out in autumn 1936 to break records for Mercedes-Benz.

- Stuttgart, Oct 6, 2016 - Mercedes-Benz Classic and ALL TIME STARS played a big part in the successful premiere of the Motorworld Classics show in Berlin last year – and this year will once again have numerous vehicles on display at the historic exhibition centre next to Berlin's 'Funkturm' (a former broadcasting tower).

- Stuttgart, Sep 30, 2016 - The motifs of the Mercedes-Benz Classic calendar for 2017 have an astoundingly realistic feel to them. The calendar is entitled "With passion to scale":the lavishly photographed scenes show legendary classics from the Stuttgart company's history – as 1:18-scale models. The Classic calendar for 2017 costs 29.90 euros.

- Stuttgart, Apr 16, 2013 - Mercedes-Benz and France have enjoyed a very special relationship right up to the present day: the Stuttgart-based manufacturer i.e. has remained true to the Salon Mondial de l’Automobile (International Motor Show) in Paris since it was introduced in 1898 and has time and again celebrated great premieres, especially with models of the luxury class.

- Stuttgart, Feb 26, 2010 - Emil Jellinek was a young man who enjoyed a fashionable lifestyle when the automobile was invented in 1886. He was fascinated with the new product. In 1896 a newspaper advertisement of Daimler-Motoren-Gesellschaft (DMG) caught Jellinek's attention. He travelled to Cannstatt and ordered two belt-driven cars, "a four-horsepower and a nine-horsepower" which were said to do 40 km/h on a "smooth road" – an unheard-of speed in the outgoing nineteenth century.

- Stuttgart, May 24, 2009 - The Mercedes-Benz brand was born under a lucky star: the current trademark comprising a three-pointed star in a laurel wreath was created in 1925 – in time for the merger between Daimler Motoren-Gesellschaft (DMG) and Benz & Cie., which together became Daimler-Benz AG, in summer 1926. This event marked the birth of a new car brand – Mercedes-Benz – and with it a shared aspiration to uphold the tradition of the world's two oldest car manufacturers and ensure a successful future for both.
