"Find your treasure! A journey of discovery in the museum": this is the slogan of this year's summer holiday programme, organised jointly by the Württemberg State Museum and the Mercedes-Benz Museum.Young museum visitors between the ages of 7 and 12 are invited to spend two consecutive days between the end of July and mid-August on a rally through the two museums. Participation in the programme costs 20 euros per child, which includes two lunches.
Stuttgart. Museums are real treasure stores. Between 28 July and 12 August the Württemberg State Museum and the Mercedes-Benz Museum are inviting children to go on a journey of discovery under the heading "real treasures". The young explorers are guided through the two museums by a treasure map involving some tricky questions. At the end the children find a piece of treasure, which they can transform into their very own memento to take home with them.
The children (between 7 and 12 years of age) spend one day in the Württemberg State Museum and one day in the Mercedes-Benz Museum (9.30 a.m. to 4.30 p.m.) respectively; participation costs 20 euros in total. Registration is possible as of now (telephone +49 (0)711 17-30000, email firstname.lastname@example.org, website www.mercedes-benz-classic.com/museum).
This is now the second year of cooperation between the two museums for the summer holiday programme, following the tremendous success of the premiere of the joint event last year.
