The autonomously driving Mercedes-Benz F 015 Luxury in Motion is celebrating its European premiere at the Ars Electronica Festival in Linz. This year's event is being staged under the banner "POST CITY – habitats for the 21st century" and looks at the question of how our towns and cities will change under the influence of advances in digitalization. This was also a key theme during the development of the Mercedes-Benz F 015 Luxury in Motion.

The internationally renowned EcoGlobe environmental prize, awarded for ecological innovations, goes to Daimler AG in 2012, too. In the category “Concept vehicles”, the Mercedes-Benz F 125! research vehicle was distinguished with the first prize. In addition, the Mercedes-Benz Citaro FuelCELL Hybrid bus was awarded the second prize in the category “Mobility models”.

Around 100,000 readers of AUTO BILD magazine have voted the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Germany's most attractive car. The super-sports car received the most votes of any newly launched model. Second place in the overall rating was taken by the new Mercedes-Benz E-Class Cabriolet. The Mercedes-Benz F 800 Style emerged as the winner in the "Studies & Concept Cars" category.

The Mercedes-Benz presence at the 62nd IAA in Frankfurt includes an entire fleet of particularly economical and clean cars with intelligent combined drive technologies. The line-up of no less than 19 newcomers - featuring eight BLUETEC models, seven hybrids from five model series, the same number of record holders for low CO2 emissions and the innovative F 700 research vehicle - represents the Mercedes road to the future. "Every one of these 19 models demonstrates that the inventors of the automobile will continue to offer trend-setting solutions in the future, too. We intend to use these technologies, which we have grouped together under the heading 'TrueBlueSolutions', to take us into a zero-emission future", commented Dr. Dieter Zetsche, Chairman of the Board of Management of DaimlerChrysler AG.
