- Stuttgart, Apr 6, 2021 - What a surprising victory: The large and, despite numerous weight-saving measures, still heavy Mercedes-Benz SSKL (W 06 RS) with Rudolf Caracciola at the wheel was not considered to be a favourite in view of the Italian competition in the fifth Mille Miglia on 12 and 13 April 1931.

- Stuttgart, Mar 25, 2021 - No less than two milestones in the history of Mercedes-Benz were achieved by the important “Nice Week” racing event from 25 to 29 March 1901: 120 years ago, the era of the modern car began with the victory in Nice of the Mercedes 35 hp made by Daimler-Motoren-Gesellschaft and, at the same time, the Mercedes brand name was born.

- Stuttgart, Sep 17, 2019 - British racing driver Stirling Moss became a star of the Mercedes-Benz racing department in 1955. He celebrated outstanding victories with the Mercedes-Benz 300 SLR racing sports car (W 196 S) and was Formula 1 runner-up world champion with the W 196 R. His successes are highlights of 125 years of Mercedes-Benz motorsport history.

- Stuttgart, Aug 1, 2019 - Her overall victory at the 1962 Argentinian Touring Car Grand Prix in a Mercedes-Benz 220 SE (W 111) is the greatest motorsport success of Ewy Rosqvist – and a highlight in 125 years of motorsport at Mercedes-Benz. On 3 August 2019, the rally driver and brand ambassador of Mercedes-Benz Classic is celebrating her 90th birthday.

- Stuttgart, Jul 25, 2019 - On 28 July 2019 Mercedes-Benz Classic celebrates “125 Years of Motorsports” at the Formula 1 Mercedes-Benz Grosser Preis von Deutschland at the Hockenheimring. Besides extensive event activities, numerous vehicles from the company’s own collection commemorate the highlights of motorsports history since 1894.

- Stuttgart/Le Mans, Jun 11, 2019 - 24 hours of fascinating motorsport: this is the legendary long distance race at Le Mans. Thirty years ago, Mercedes-Benz achieved a double victory in 1989 with the new Sauber-Mercedes C 9 Silver Arrows – just as they did in 1952 with the 300 SL racing sports car (W 194).

- Stuttgart, Apr 2, 2019 - This year Mercedes-Benz celebrates the anniversary “125 Years of Motorsport” – a perfect opportunity to transform a luxurious 1969 Mercedes-Benz 280 S (W 108) into a furious rally racer, following the example set by the legendary racing car icon, the red Mercedes-Benz 300 SEL 6.8 AMG, which was successful in Spa-Francorchamps in 1971.

- Stuttgart, Oct 26, 2017 - The first season of the new FIA GT Championship in 1997 ended with a one-two victory for AMG Mercedes: Race driver Bernd Schneider won the title driving the newly developed Mercedes-Benz CLK-GTR racing touring car, which was developed in an extremely short space of time starting in December 1996.

- Stuttgart, Oct 9, 2017 - In autumn 1957, racing driver Paul O'Shea won his third US sports car championship. After his two titles in a 300 SL "Gullwing" Coupé (W 198) in 1955 and 1956, he won his third championship in succession 60 years ago at the wheel of an open-top 300 SLS ("Super Light Sport") touring sports car based on the 300 SL Roadster.

- Stuttgart, Sep 25, 2017 - On 28 September 1977 the world’s toughest rally was won by two Mercedes-Benz upper mid-range saloons. Andrew Cowan and his team took first place in the Singapore Airlines London–Sydney Rally driving a 280 E (W 123) – now a sought-after modern classic – and Anthony (Tony) Fowkes and his crew came in second, also in a 280 E.

- Stuttgart, Sep 12, 2017 - At the third Trackday of 2017, Mercedes-Benz Classic sets standards with a strong line-up of Brand Ambassadors and vehicles: on 19 September 2017, participants at the Trackday in the Motorsport Arena Oschersleben will experience around a dozen sporting automobiles spanning a history of over one hundred years.

- Stuttgart, Nov 8, 2016 - Racing driver Paul O'Shea won his second title as US sports car champion in the 1956 season driving a Mercedes-Benz 300 SL "Gullwing". When the season ended on 28 December 1956, he was champion in the category "D Production“ and had scored the most points in the National Sports Car Championship of the Sports Car Club of America (SCCA).

- Stuttgart, Aug 9, 2013 - The Mercedes-Benz 190 E 2.3-16 was a star of the year 1983 – and set no less than several records between 11 and 21 August on the high-speed track in Nardò. In just 201 hours, 39 minutes and 43 seconds it covered a distance of 50,000 kilometres. In addition to this achievement it also set two more world records over a distance of 25,000 kilometres and nine records in its class. For the vehicle and above all for the then new four-valve engine, this provided impressive proof of the reliability over an extreme long distance.

- Stuttgart, Aug 8, 2013 - From Belgium to Bulgaria and back, 5,500 kilometres in 90 hours: from 27 to 31 August 1963, Eugen Böhringer drove the red Mercedes-Benz 230 SL (W 113) day and night, hurtling through narrow passes and along distant motorways. Together with co-driver Klaus Kaiser, he secured overall victory in the ‘Marathon de la Route’, the renowned Belgian long-distance rally.

- Stuttgart, Oct 18, 2012 - Mercedes-Benz in the final spurt at the Dunlop FHR long-distance cup: the type 220 SE (series W 111) reconstructed by Mercedes-Benz Classic will be on the starting grid for the ADAC Westphalia Trophy 2012 at the Nürburgring (19–21 October 2012), the setting for the season finale of the race series, held as a two-hour race. The “Fintail” saloon has been optimised for racing and will be piloted by former racing driver, Roland Asch, and by Bernd Ostmann, editor-in-chief of the professional journal auto motor und sport.

- Stuttgart, Oct 15, 2012 - The 1952 racing season was a resounding success for Mercedes-Benz: in Berne, Le Mans, and at the Nürburgring race track, the 300 SL racing sports car (W 194) left competitors in its wake. With its celebrated double, triple, and quadruple victories, the 300 SL impressively demonstrated its sporting gene, which it passed on to successive vehicles in the SL series.
