- Stuttgart / Tokyo , Mar 11, 2021 - Daimler Trucks’ Japan-based subsidiary FUSO, one of Asia’s leading commercial vehicle manufacturers, has delivered three all-electric FUSO eCanter light-duty trucks to IKEA Japan K.K., the Japanese subsidiary of Swedish home furnishing company IKEA,. IKEA Japan is the first home furnishing company to receive delivery of the eCanter.

- Stuttgart/Neu-Ulm, Mar 5, 2021 - Daimler Buses is contributing to the containment of the corona virus pandemic with a new vaccination bus. The mobile vaccination station based on an S 415 LE business features an interior concept with fully digitalised vaccination procedure from the Huber Group in Mühlhausen.

The Volvo Group has acquired 50 percent of the partnership interests in the existing Daimler Truck Fuel Cell GmbH & Co.

- Stuttgart / Columbus (Indiana), USA, Feb 23, 2021 - Today Daimler Truck AG and global power leader and independent engine manufacturer Cummins Inc. (NYSE: CMI) announced that the companies have signed a memorandum of understanding establishing a global strategic partnership for medium-duty engine systems. The companies added that other opportunities for collaboration are also being evaluated.

- Stuttgart (Germany), Feb 18, 2021 - Daimler AG (ticker symbol: DAI) today reported its results for the fiscal year 2020 ended December 31, 2020. In a challenging environment due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Group’s total unit sales of passenger cars and commercial vehicles decreased by 15%, to 2.84 million (2019: 3.34 million).

- Stuttgart/ Portland, Oregon, Feb 16, 2021 - The Board of Management of Daimler Truck AG has appointed John O’Leary (60) as the next President and CEO of Daimler Trucks North America (DTNA) with its brands Freightliner Trucks, Western Star Trucks, Thomas Built Buses, Freightliner Custom Chassis Corporation and Detroit Diesel Corporation.

- Ludwigsfelde, Germany, Feb 8, 2021 - Exactly thirty years ago, an LN2 truck was the first Mercedes-Benz vehicle to roll off the production line in Ludwigsfelde, which is now Daimler's third largest van production plant in the world. Today, about 200 of the so-called open model series of the Sprinter (chassis, platform vehicle, tractor head) are manufactured daily, well over 50,000 per year.

- Stuttgart, Feb 3, 2021 - Daimler plans a fundamental change in its structure, designed to unlock the full potential of its businesses in a zero-emissions, software-driven future. The Supervisory Board and the Board of Management of Daimler today agreed to evaluate a spin-off of its Truck and Bus business and begin preparations for a separate listing of Daimler Truck.
